Chapter topics include:
- THEMES AND STORYLINES. How to incorporate a theme and a storyline...and learning to break away from the idea that a treasure hunt has to always be about finding pirate's treasure. It could just as easily (and perhaps be more fun to) rescue someone from Dracula's castle or deliver top secret documents in a foreign, hostile country. Also included is a healthy list of over 100 potential story ideas within dozens of possible themes to get your creative juices flowing.
- CHARACTERS. Not just when and how to use characters your participant(s) will encounter on their adventure...but how to incorporate them without the availability of volunteers.
- BEGINNINGS AND ENDINGS. Right from the beginning, your adventurer should have excitement for going on the adventure you created. Likewise, they'll appreciate a sense of 'wrap up' at the end. He details how and why to provide both.
PLUS MORE! He'll address many other aspects including timing your hunt, what rules should be in place for larger groups and even how and when you might incorporate food into the overall activity.
WARNING: This is NOT a book about how to create a linear rhyming clue to rhyming clue treasure hunt. Rather, it provides a step by step guide to turn a basic treasure hunt idea into something where your participant(s) get to step inside an Indiana Jones or National Treasure experience.
