I remember it as if it were yesterday. The air that morning was sweet and warm as honey. Well, I think I saw a beautiful young lady having her first driving lesson. He motioned me toward the controls and wheel. But, Daddy, I don't know the switches or buttons. What if I mess up? Well, I'm right here with you, he said with a smile. Let's go start her up. I looked at a stretched-out ocean that lay in front of me. Then looking at my father, I turned the key and finally it was my turn to be captain of the waking waves. I was ready to explore!
