A novella told in flashback about the beginning of the vampire apocalypse. Malcolm was a police officer who was working in his career at a time when a series of killings was attributed to vampires. But in a world where vampires are the majority and he is the only human who is the real monster in this world, them or him? And if there is a God is God testing him?
