Hello Reader, thank you for looking at my book to discover what it is about. I do hope it is engaging and rewarding. The bottom line is children need their parents to guide them in the ways of wisdom so that they can win in life. Thankfully, one of the best ways to engage children is through play, which can equally be just as much fun for adults as well. Through play parents can introduce their children to many of the evident and not so evident realities of the world. The hope of this education is to arm children with a strategical advantage to win in life. In each chapter, I start with a Biblical Proverb to show the relevant connection of biblical wisdom and practical living through gaming. Each chapter focuses on one observation from the game Checkers. I draw from it two life lessons before discussing practical relevance for the reader to discuss with his or her children or pupil. This reflection consists of simple questions to stir up your creativity to have more effective conversations with yourself and those you seek to mentor. The ultimate goal is to show parents how to use games to instruct children in wisdom as well as equip children with a winning game plan for navigating through the ups and downs of life most successfully.
