This study, conducted by Iorlumun Tarlumun, Esther Nguemo Ujia, and Onu Paul Agada, investigates the critical role of Radio Benue in addressing insecurity in Makurdi Local Government, Benue State, Nigeria. The researchers conclude that radio is an indispensable tool in combating insecurity and recommend increased investment in modern broadcasting infrastructure, professional training, and strategies for consistent, impactful security reporting. This study underscores the transformative potential of radio in fostering societal safety and calls for collaborative efforts to maximize its utility.
