Living with Purpose: 90 Days of Discovering Your Calling is the fourth and final book in the Christian Coaching series, and it was born from a simple but weighty question we have asked thousands of people we have coached over the years: now that God has been renewing your mind, healing your heart, and transforming your relationships-what is it all for? The answer this book offers is not a career quiz or a five-step formula for finding your dream job. It is a biblical, coaching-driven journey into who God made you to be, and what He is inviting you to do because of it.
This book completes a deliberate arc. Book One taught you to think according to God's truth. Book Two taught you to receive God's healing in the deepest places of your heart. Book Three taught you to love others in healthier, more Christlike ways. This fourth book gathers all of that transformed thinking, healed emotion, and restored love, and points it toward a single question: what has God prepared in advance for you to do?
Over the course of these ninety days, you will journey through thirteen thematic weeks. We will begin with the foundational truth that your life is not an accident, then move into knowing who you are in Christ before ever asking what you should do. We will explore the gifts God has already placed within you, the specific ways He invites you to participate in His work, and the redemptive purpose hidden inside your own story. We will confront the fear, comparison, and insecurity that so often keep people from stepping forward, and we will get practical about taking the next step, serving with what you already have, treating your work as worship, guarding your integrity, persevering through delay and opposition, making a genuine difference in the lives of others, and finally, finishing well.
Each day includes a Scripture-God's own voice, speaking directly into the specific dimension of calling at hand. A reflection that connects that truth to the practical realities of discovering and living your purpose. An affirmation to anchor what you have received. And a coaching question designed to move you from reading into responding-from information into transformation, and from transformation into action.
This is not a book about finding a dream job or achieving personal significance on the world's terms. It is a book about becoming who God already declared you to be before you were formed, and then living that reality out-faithfully, courageously, and for the good of others-one ordinary day at a time.
We have learned, in our own lives and in the lives of those we have coached, that purpose is rarely discovered all at once in a single dramatic revelation. It is uncovered gradually, through prayer, through obedience, through small steps taken in faith long before the whole picture becomes clear. Some days the reading ahead will feel like a spark igniting something you always suspected was true about yourself. Other days it will feel like ordinary maintenance, one more step in a long and faithful walk. Both are part of the process. Keep going.
The Apostle Paul wrote that we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do. Those good works are not hidden from you by accident. They are waiting to be discovered, step by step, day by day, across the journey you are about to begin. Welcome to the journey. Your purpose is waiting.
