Multiple sclerosis (MS) is frequently associated with bladder-sphincter disorders (BSD), which can significantly impair quality of life and lead to urinary complications. The objective was to assess the prevalence of BSDs among patients with MS in Tunisia, to characterize their clinical and urodynamic features, and to evaluate their management and associated complications. This was a retrospective, two-center study conducted among adult patients being treated for MS in physical medicine departments in Tunisia. Of the 47 patients studied, 35 had BSD, representing a prevalence of 74.5%. Irritative symptoms predominated, particularly pollakiuria (60%) and urinary urgency (51.4%). Urodynamic testing primarily revealed detrusor overactivity (77.1%) and vesicourethral dyssynergy (51.4%). The main complications were lower urinary tract infections (42.9%). These results highlight the high prevalence of TVS in MS and the importance of early and systematic screening. Urodynamic evaluation helps guide therapeutic management and prevent complications.
