This book is a collection of the poems, visions, dreams and provocations that I have written throughout the past six years of my devotion to the Goddess Babalon. Some of these pieces I composed, consciously and carefully. The best of them came like a flood and were written with a pressure that flowed directly from my unconscious through to my fingers. I call this process channelling, for like the tides I am helpless to resist this pressure.
