The objective of this study was to compile a list of medications and medical devices used in the management of common conditions in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department of the Prof. BSS University Hospital in Kati, based on patient records.This was a cross-sectional, descriptive, and retrospective study. It was conducted using data from patients hospitalized in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department of the Prof. BSS University Hospital in Kati over a 36-month period, specifically from January 1 to December 31 of the years 2017, 2018, and 2019. Of the 2,398 patients hospitalized during the study period, we analyzed 300 patient records. The sex ratio was 2.85, and the mean age was 33.34 years. Four major conditions were identified in the department: traumatic conditions (63.33%), infectious conditions (20.33%), orthopedic conditions (14.33%), and neoplastic conditions (2.01%). Two categories of drug combinations were used to treat the various conditions in the department.
