About the Author & the Guide:
Arshi recently obtained a degree in Medicine, from the University of Buckingham, in June 2023. Prior to this, she graduated with a degree in Biomedical Sciences at St George's University of London in June 2018. She currently works as a doctor, completing her foundation training, within the Oxford deanery in the UK.
The medical elective was an experience Arshi had always looked forward to since her initial days at medical school. With this guide, she hopes to share everything learnt, from the process of planning her elective placement, to make your journey a smoother sail.
The guide comes with information from her personal journey, along with the obstacles encountered and the subsequent troubleshooting that took place, that made it possible for Arshi to attend her dream placements.
