This book is a personal glimpse into the journey of recovery and healing for the author, who is an ACOA. Kelly shares her personal struggles with the ACOA characteristics and laundry list that has defined her as an ACOA much of her life.
Her journey to recovery, and self discovery led to the healing of her inner child and a rebirth of who she is and who she is meant to be. Learning what normal is, learning to forgive and living in, through and with Love have allowed her to find her inner peace. Being vulnerable and having the courage to un-learn the dysfunction, she gave her trust to the universe and surrendered.
