Although the general populace has arrived at a reluctant acceptance that magic exists, Sig Stromgard doesn't even know what a Battle Wizard is, until it turns out he is one-when he discovers that he can change into a nine foot tall, seven hundred pound warrior, complete with sword.

But what good is being a Battle Wizard, when Sig can't control his talent? Without training and magic, how can he defeat the Dark Mage trying to kill him? The Mage already sent Sig's great-grandfather-a Battle Wizard with centuries of experience-into a coma.

Sig enrolls in the Physics of Magic School, gets help from the dean of the school, an archmage, and is befriended by a werewolf. A shapely band of Amazons help to hone his warrior skills, if they don't kill him first. But will this be enough to defend himself and vanquish the Dark Mage's black magic?

Wizard's Sword is the second novel in The Battle Wizard Saga, begun in Wizard Dawning. Book three, Dragon Sword is due out early in third quarter 2014.

Note: For those who purchased Wizard Dawning prior to 9/2013, this is the action packed finish of that original book. The new Wizard Dawning is significantly expanded from the first part of the original book. So, if you want new, try Wizard Dawning.
