He is a prospector of rare magical metals and gems and a master of ancient forging magic capable of binding storms and elemental forces into steel. When MacBeth discovers a massive vein of legendary Stormiron buried beneath the hills, the witches grow suspicious. Stormiron is one of the most powerful magical metals in existence, capable of amplifying magic beyond anything the coven has ever controlled. Rumors begin spreading throughout the town. Some claim MacBeth plans to steal the witches' power. Others believe he has come to conquer Eastwick itself. Fear grows quickly, fueled by gossip and misunderstanding. As Halloween approaches, the witches secretly gather to discuss the stranger. Convinced he is a threat, the coven decides to confront him at the witching hour. Their plan is simple: overwhelm the outsider with their combined magic and force him to leave their land. But the witches have made a terrible mistake. MacBeth has faced covens before, and the ancient powers he commands are far older and more dangerous than the magic practiced in Eastwick. When the witches unleash their spells, MacBeth responds with the very force of nature itself. Lightning answers his blade. Wind rises from the sea.
