Warriors and Goddesses: First Moon is set on a tiny sexually polarized planet called Androgynous Prime, where the males and females fight for domination. Sex is the only common denominator. The males increase their power from females, via sex by any means necessary. Females increase their power through the subjugation of men by seduction or brute force. When a 21st century earthling is brought to the planet and falls in love with a powerful female, everything changes, as the males and females evolve In his book, Byrd examines the primordial male and female nature. For instance, do women truly want long-term relationships, motherhood, and sexual fidelity, or do they want power? Just how innately macho are men, when women truly hold more power? The book is shockingly raw and at times violent. Ultimately the Warriors and Goddesses series is an epic and exciting adventure that breaks away from the standard sci-fi fantasy genre, and takes us towards a new vision.
