Some time ago I have been observing how in my profession as a pastor and paralegal in family cases I have been able to help and bless many people, telling them part of the testimony of my life. For this reason, I decided to write this book and capture in it some of those moments that marked my life since my childhood and how I was able to overcome them with God's help.
When I tell my experiences everyone is amazed to hear them, because in their minds they would never have imagined that I, a strong woman, warrior, full of faith and desire to see others happy, had lived experiences such as being raised in a home of strict religiosity and harsh discipline, never knowing the love of a biological mother or father, having experienced domestic violence with mental and physical abuse, depression, divorce, and even having attempted suicide at one point in my life. I have been through deception, known rejection, experienced financial need and live every day battling illnesses that cause me chronic pain; and yet I can still have a smile, words of encouragement for anyone who needs it and am willing to give without limits when needed.
For some reason, most people think that only professional people who have never suffered can be happy and help others, and that people who suffer since childhood do not have the right to succeed in life and be happy.
The main purpose of my book is to show you that you can get ahead, that there is a future, that you can smile, that you can forgive your aggressors and live in peace and that, above all, there is a purpose of God with your life in every situation you face, that God's love will sustain you as it did me, until you reach the perfect plan He has prepared for you.
I want you to get to know the God of the impossible, who perhaps today when you are going through some difficult situation you have come to think that He has left you and that He no longer loves you, as I once thought.
I don't know what your situation is today, but let me show you through my testimony that I was also there one day, in that place where you think you are worthless, that your life has no meaning, that you are useless, that there is no tomorrow; there, in the valley of shadow and death, in the pit of despair without direction and without meaning, until one day I got up and stopped complaining and looking for the reason why my life was like that and I began to see the negative things as something positive. I understood that if that was God's purpose for me, I would accept it because I knew that one day everything would make sense, as his word tells us in Romans 8:28.
I want to challenge you to read this book and let God continue to work in your life through my testimony and you can come to understand that the situation that hurts you today and does not make sense is not the end of you, but it is only God's purpose for your life. I want you to believe that you too will be able to get out of it and that someday you will be a blessing to others, just as I am today in the lives of many people.
