The present study deals with the thermal buckling analysis of different geometries of plates i.e. skewed, trapezoidal and triangular. In the case of triangular plates two different geometries of triangular plates are employed i.e. right-angle triangular plate and isosceles triangular plate. The effective material of plates are functionally graded which continuously vary in thicknessdirection i.e. in z-axis. The thermal buckling study considered two type of temperature loading i.e. uniform temperature rise and linear temperature rise. The present work is done using finite element analysis software package i.e. COMSOL Multiphysics (version 5.3). The parametric study is carried out for three geometric factors i.e. plate angle, aspect ratio and thickness ratio.The trends obtained from the parametric study can be helpful in design of structures under thermal load.
