This book talks about belief. This book is a short outline of the Islamic faith as held by the Sunni Muslim community. The author dedicates this work to the people of Syria - may God put an end to their distress - and to Muslims in general. He gives this outline guided by the Qur'an and the Prophet's sunnah, as well as the faith expounded by the early Muslims, i.e. the Prophet's companions and the generation of tabi'in who succeeded them. The true faith is the foundation of good action that benefits the one who does it in this present life and in the life to come. In doing so, they also point out what is in conflict with it, or mars its beauty, of word and deed.
