Catchy, playful, and highly entertaining, Truckman Dan, created and written by Anton Gilfoyle, with illustrations by Leanne Allen, is sure to delight all young truck lovers, whether they are girls or boys. Dan drives his trucks here, there, and everywhere delivering small parcels, big parcels, short, tall, and skinny parcels all over the land. People from far and wide call this hardworking driver morning, noon, and night, and he never lets them down. A town hero, Dan is always there to lend a helping hand! Filled with Leanne Allen's lively illustrations, this fun picture book will help toddlers and preschoolers identify colors, shapes, and sizes, and it is sure to become a family favorite. The concept for Truckman Dan began in May 2008, when creator Anton Gilfoyle worked as a truck driver for a local bread company. He noticed how the trucks moved around the factory yard like ants as they went about their business, never bumping into each other as they unloaded old bread and crates and refueled for the next day's run. As Anton looked down on the scene from one of the factory's largest vehicles, he decided this setting would make the perfect backdrop for a series of children's picture books. Why not collect all Truckman Dan's adventures? Look out for The Big Purple Hat, The Crouton, Ivan's Ice Creams, and many more!
