When a dying messenger delivers a warning from the edge of death, the sisters are forced onto a path that leads toward queens, monsters, and a gathering catastrophe. Armies are moving. Ancient powers are stirring. And whatever hunts the world now is older than rumor and crueler than memory.
As visions tighten their hold on Medusa, the bond between the sisters is tested by hunger, prophecy, and fear of what she may become. To survive, they must cross a land of broken peoples and fading gods. But survival is no longer the same thing as salvation.
