How far will a mother go to protect her family? For Jennifer and her sister, returning to their grandfather's cabin after a twenty-five-year absence was an opportunity to create memories with their families before the cabin was sold. Jennifer's midnight trip to the outhouse leads to a whole world, a place she'd forgotten, the memories all blocked ... pushed aside as if they'd never occurred. The time difference between the worlds had allowed her to spend months there as a child, all without her parents ever knowing. Until one fateful day.The day she released a dragon. Now free to take vengeance upon the descendants of those who had trapped her, the dragon seeks a way to kill Jennifer and her family, the human connection needed to trap the dragon again. When she steps through the outhouse door the next night, Jennifer is prepared to stay, to fight the dragon, to do whatever it takes to protect her family, no matter the cost. They won't even know she is gone ... unless she doesn't return.
