Angsty teen werewolves? hell yeah! This book gives a new look into the werewolf genre, letting us get into the nitty gritty of werewolf politics, but keeping it YA with young characters and plenty of angst. The main character is strong and developed; the supporting characters are interesting and fun. I liked the setting just because of its seeming innocuousness. It was a fun ride. I honestly am amazed this isn't absolutely EVERYWHERE! Amazing book. Could NOT put it down! After reading this book....I purchased the entire series. Josephine- Amazon reviewer
Silver is one of the best werewolf stories I had read. The main characters were likeable and the plot was very well done. It was a page turner for sure. I love werewolf stories. It is a good read for young and old. This one kept my interest going until the end. I had a hard time putting it down. Plus it turned out to be a great love story as well. Kathy Hallettsville- Amazon reviewer
What a fun and engaging read. I can't wait to read the rest of the series! Not your typical youth series. No high school angst, just real characters and a captivating story line.- ruralmom- Amazon reviewer
If you enjoy books with suspense, fighting, and romance you'll love this one. Kathryn Cooper- Book Blogger from Clean Teen Fiction
This is not your ordinary werewolf story and I am so glad that the next book is already out so I can jump right in and read it cause I am hooked on this series. Silver is a page turner that had me up past my bedtime because I did not want to put it down. . . This story was awesome, faced pace with lots of action and a sweet romance on the side. It does contain some violence that is tastefully written. Tifferz- Book Blogger
Cheree Alsop has written Silver for the YA reader who enjoys both werewolves and coming of age tales. Although I don't fall into this demographic, I still found it an entertaining read on a long plane trip! The author has put a great deal of thought into balancing a tale that could apply to any teen (death of a parent, new school, trying to find one's place in the world) with the added spice of a youngster dealing with being exceptionally different from those around him, and knowing that puts him in danger.- Robin Hobb
From the start of the book you are engulfed in sorrow, danger, adventure, and romance. Malcay- Amazon reviewer
More, I know it's wrong to start a review with just one word but that's the first word that comes to mind after I read the first novel in this series of books from Cheree Alsop. Emily Tuley- Book Blogger from AngelsCryHavoc
I recommend this book for anyone wanting to discover a great new author and supernatural series. Karen- Amazon reviewer
All around this book was such an awesome read. If you enjoy books with suspense, fighting, and romance you'll love this one. Niala- Goodreads Reviewer
This new werewolf series is different from what you might be expecting. It has more heart and love, and feels more like what it would really be like to grow up as a werewolf. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes to read urban fantasy or good young adult stories. Trisha Payne- Goodreads Reviewer
Silver, book one of the Silver Series, is a coming of age story about a teenage werewolf whose father is murdered. He has to come to terms with his new life, new school, and new friends while trying to prevent more killings. Attempting to make peace with the territory's pack and finding out that the girl next door might be more than she lets on make his situation even more perilous.
