The importance of sustainable agriculture is increasingly realized world over. This awareness has come to the centre stage of global debate as a result of degradation of natural resources and environment. The adoption of sustainable agriculture depends on practicing of organic farming without chemical input and lack of mechanization and modernization. But people believe that organic farming. It means method is traditional and unscientific and it was practiced by the traditional people and it is discarded on consequence of modernization now the traditional organic agricultural practices are rediscovered after costly strategies. Thus agricultural sector provides direct employment to about two third of the countries population. Through adoption of modern agricultural practices with chemical inputs, a substantial success has been achieved in the direction of agricultural development in India.
