Surprises: A disturbing element has arisen aboard the spaceship, Sky Seeker. Sar and Void have reported having a nasty nightmare. And, not only that, Fey is reacting traumatized, as well. Something is definitely amiss, and Brain decides to investigate. But where is the problem located? Void takes a journey into the Spiritual Realms in an endeavor to discover the source of the problem. While there, a fascinating, and slightly terrifying, side of Fey, their alien cat-like pet, is discovered. However, at last, a destination is found. What they find at journey's end is a scene of utter devastation. However, an injured inhabitant of the destroyed planet, one who looks decidedly different to any of the Sky Seeker crew, joins them in their quest. But that's not the end of the surprises. The authors of the destruction turn out to be totally unexpected. Meanwhile, Void is having problems of her own. She has a major secret - one that is isolating her from her friends. However, despite everything, a possible solution to the chaos presents itself. But will it be successful? If not, then more than this world is doomed.
