In a cruel twist of Time, Albaric must safeguard his own ancestor from the approaching downfall of Weir - for Mother Night is preparing to destroy Her own city, and if Albaric's ancestor dies with it, the pattern of the future will die with him, costing Albaric his one chance for redemption from Urzoth's clutch . . .
