In a daring confrontation, Sam and Emily kill Lamont Grey, throwing the vampire subworld into chaos. With the council's leadership in disarray, Ronan informs them of a place called Haven, rumored to accept all vampires. As a new leader rises and the vampire world teeters on the brink of change, Sam and Emily set their sights on finding Haven, determined to secure their future together.
