His nephew the Scorpion has plans of his own as he seeks to usurp his uncle's throne and wage a war across the face of the world to bring glory to the evil being of his worship, Ahriman. Meanwhile, Doomgor, the man fated to destroy the world, finds a world worth saving and struggles with his destiny. His journey will bring him to the pyramids and before the Serpent-King in a confrontation that will have consequences for heaven and earth.

This is the third Book of the Black Sun, an apocalyptic fantasy series set in the bronze age civilization of the Bathic Crescent. A time of mad prophets, doomsayers and divine revelations.
