In The Saddest Man in the World: The Resurrection of Adam - Part II, Adam's journey continues through the great biblical movements of judgment, covenant, deliverance, law, lament, and prophetic hope.
Standing before the burning bush, Adam watches Moses receive a calling larger than his strength. He returns to the field of Cain and hears again the question humanity has never escaped:
Where is your brother?
From there, Adam follows God into Egypt, where human power has transformed fear into policy, labor into bondage, and children into threats. He witnesses the conflict between Pharaoh and the God who sees, hears, knows, and comes down to deliver. Adam must learn that divine patience is not indifference, that mercy does not erase justice, and that judgment may become necessary when oppression refuses every call to repentance.
The journey continues through Abraham's promise, Israel's long education, the mercy of God's commands, the gift of lament, and the prophets who speak unwelcome truth to rulers, priests, nations, and people. Across these chapters, Adam begins to see that redemption does not proceed through flawless servants, but through the faithfulness of God working within and beyond human weakness.
