Nowadays, stress has become a part of everyday life. Almost everyone is confronted with it in one way or another. It is striking that some people react more strongly to stressful situations than others, because the perception of stress varies greatly. This means that some people have a higher resilience to stressful influences than others. This aspect is particularly relevant in the nursing professions, as individuals in this field face a great deal of stress. It is therefore important, on the one hand, to be aware of one's own resilience levels as early as during nursing training; on the other hand, it is also necessary to recognise and practise stress factors and coping strategies. The programme addresses awareness of the individuality of each trainee and each care worker, as well as ways of utilising one's own resources and fostering the understanding that health is a self-sustaining process.
