Just how much free will do we have as humans? Centuries ago our own philosophers believed man played no role in determining his own destiny. In the coming decades there may be scientific proof. But heroes wouldn't let that stop them from trying to save the world. The clues were there. Earth was part of a cosmic game. The planet's future was beyond its own control. Yes. Heroes still try. For they are used to tragedy, whether it lurks in a dark Ceerigaabo cave, or the forests of northern Vermont. They have been tested, hardened, by their own misguided pursuits or the relentless efforts of others- a Qatari prince, warring alien races. And yet they still refused to believe, no matter how much evidence accumulated to the contrary, that they had just been fulfilling the prophecy all along.Regal and the Galaxy Hound is the first book in the trilogy of the same name. Regal Jimp's odyssey begins in Orionis Vermont, where he flees after the unexpected death of his mother. He meets the Professor, who introduces him to a secret project aimed at communicating with extra-terrestrial life. But there are others who will play their roles in shaping Regal- in molding him into Earth's potential savior. Natalia, the beautiful but troubled girl from the Rockaways. Shazir al-Khoumeni, the hardened Saudi mercenary, Rana Laga, the Vedenestraan outcast. But perhaps most of all, the Galaxy Hound.
