What if your greatest pain could become your greatest purpose?
In A Queen's Journey: Forgiveness, Healing, and Self-Love, ordained minister, recovery advocate, and author Makeesia Lee shares her powerful story of overcoming childhood trauma, addiction, incarceration, shame, and brokenness through the transforming grace of God.
Raised in a home affected by addiction, violence, and instability, Makeesia spent years searching for love, acceptance, and healing in all the wrong places. Her journey led through heartbreak, destructive choices, prison, relapse, and loss. Yet through every setback, God was working behind the scenes, restoring what seemed beyond repair.
With honesty, vulnerability, and biblical wisdom, Makeesia invites readers into a journey of healing emotional wounds, learning to see themselves through God's eyes, releasing unforgiveness, breaking generational cycles, and embracing the freedom found in Christ.
Through personal testimony, powerful Scripture, reflection exercises, prayers, and practical application, this book will help readers:
Heal from childhood trauma and emotional woundsBreak free from shame, guilt, and self-condemnation
Learn biblical self-love and healthy identity
Forgive those who caused pain
Forgive themselves for past mistakes
Break destructive generational patterns
Discover purpose beyond their pain
Walk confidently in freedom and faith
Whether you are recovering from addiction, healing from trauma, rebuilding after failure, or searching for hope, A Queen's Journey is a reminder that your past does not define your future, your mistakes do not determine your worth, and God is still writing your story.
Your wounds are not the end of your story.
They may be the very place where God begins your healing.
A powerful testimony of redemption, restoration, forgiveness, healing, and the life-changing love of God.
