Prodavnica starih stvari (The Old Things Shop) is a gentle, character-driven novel about Sara, a young woman who runs a tiny antiques corner where memories and objects trade places. Trninic writes with understated warmth: a November morning, the smell of lacquer, a customer who won't leave without the right story. The book's pleasures are quiet but real-kindness, grief tended carefully, the small dignity of work. For readers who love intimate contemporary fiction and strong female leads, this is a comforting, hopeful read.
