Living a Human life is overrated, especially when you've found a world of Magic to live in Edward Black, teenage social outcast of his little suburban town lived what he thought to be the average teenage life. A best friend he's known all his life, loving adoptive parents, and the occasional beat downs from his fellow classmates. Until one day, tragedy strikes, and he finds himself hurdled into a brand new world. One of Magic and sophistication. Not only that, but he finds out he was never really human, he's one of the rarest breeds of Magical Being, a Project, Number Eight of Thirteen to be exact. What's a Project you ask? A creature crafted from a blend of Magical and Mortal DNA, created only to send out signals of peace between the realms and many species of sentient life that roam on Earth. But what's this about one of his fellow Project's being after him? Why do people around him keep calling his best friend Number Thirteen? What kind of world has he entered? Was he meant to shine within this mystical world of grace and immortality? Or was he truly meant to live a human life after all?
