Mr. Grable is tall, blond, brand-new-and young enough to be mistaken for one of his own fifth graders.
Before the final bell, he faces a tardy slip, missing attendance, a parent demanding answers during class, a principal observation, a ringing phone, a power outage, overheated students, and one deeply possessed copier. Through it all, he keeps teaching with a calm smile while his honest thoughts tell a very different story.
Please See Me After School is a sharply funny, adults-only picture book for teachers, school staff, and anyone who has survived a day when every small problem became an emergency. With classroom chaos, sarcastic inner commentary, and the familiar pressure placed on the newest teacher, Book 7 celebrates the educators who somehow keep the classroom running-even when the electricity, technology, and their patience have all stopped working.
A relatable dose of school humor for exhausted educators who know that Please see me after school is never just a sentence.
