Not being able to safely live in the Otherwhere is unacceptable to Jillian, so like she did to end the Great Curse, she assembles a team, this time to infiltrate the nearby city. She wants to try to learn enough about it to establish friendly relations. It sounds like a good idea, but there's yet another problem. The city has a dark secret, and unless Jillian and her friends figure out that secret, they might never leave.
