The purpose of this paper is to develop the organization of a communications zone suitable for support of a defending force of 360,000 during the initial phases of an airborne attack via Alaska on the continental United States. It was also written to show how coordination would be affected between such an organization and the combat zone, and its relationship with Zone of the Interior agencies of the Department of the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
