Violence in adolescence has similarities with the phenomenon when it occurs in childhood, but there are specificities, as adolescents more frequently circulate outside the family, reinforcing the need for networking, convening and articulating public policies for a comprehensive approach. This is an exploratory and descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The field of study was a referral health service for cases of violence and the managers of these services. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and minimal mapping of institutional links. Data analysis was performed using thematic content analysis. The theory of comprehensive protection was used as the theoretical basis for data analysis. The results show that the service is an important reference in caring for victims, but in its actions, the service does not comply with network performance standards, highlighting a gap in the protection of adolescent victims of violence. The subjects value the care network, but consider it insufficient.
