The Misfits Vanguard series highlights outcasts of the traditional fantasy world. Each character searches for truth, peace, love, and adventure in a world of pain, darkness and judgement. Sky, a cave troll, has a tough decision to make. The growing influence of the Shadowed One propels the world toward a battle of good versus evil. But what side is she on? And more importantly, who is on her side? Mafal is a goblin who collects smiles rather than jewels. But can she stand up to those she loves when they compel her into dark paths? Vispa, an orc, loves fighting. Who wouldn't? Experiencing the power of the body in a high-stakes battle is as good as it gets. A chance encounter throws him off the beaten path and onto one that he thought he could never understand. Annette's life is thrown upside down when she is captured by invading orcs. But an unlikely rescue changes her perceptions and sets her on a new path.
