Mélo noir, a French title because it refers to two film genres that borrow their name from the French language: mélo, short for melodramatic, that is romantic to the point of devouring languor, a tormented love story as in the best traditions of love stories, of all times. Because if everything went well from beginning to end there would be no material to write a novel, and captivate readers, and make them pull out, if necessary, their handkerchiefs. And then noir that does not need much explanation, because these are films that refer to crime, in which murders are essential, but there can also be international intrigues, kidnappings, all the bad things that man can imagine...
So Mélo noir, that is, a mixture of genres (which, as someone would say, is fashionable now...), so that emotions of different origins intersect, but all basically with a single origin, our heart.
A story that, in its final moments, also touches on sci-fi nuances, completing the blend of genres...
