As far as the citizens of Maraldia knew, they were the only citizens in the world. None of their many explorers ever came back with tales of advanced cultures or, for that matter, any other culture at all. It was only natural that such a lonely enclave should be preoccupied with discovering the unknown, for even their own beginnings were to them a profound enigma. Never in the history of Maraldia had a citizen been born in the manner common among beasts. Instead, every Maraldian shared a mysterious origin, as each day infant children would be found at sunrise outside the city wall. And so the population of Maraldia was continually refreshed, a city of orphans, looking for their parents. Until, in one tumultuous festival week, claims of ancestry come to them from very different quarters. Which ancestral claim is legitimate, and which is a deception? Each citizen is forced to decide. Come with Keeres and Selah on their courageous journey to discover the truth of Maraldian beginnings! All proceeds from the sale of this book, in any form, are being donated to Living Hope International (LHI). LHI is an orphanage in Zambia, Africa, committed to showing the adoptive love of God to orphans. For more information on Living Hope International visit http: //www.livinghopeinternational.org/.
