The Finale of The MAL Series, telling the story of the final clash between The Muse and The Critic. Book 23: The Remnants of The Antithesis
Mal, called back from the Dark Oblivion by The Muse, finds himself in Purgatory to atone for his sins and redeem himself in the eyes of The Plot. As penance, Mal must hunt down renegade Demons until the Grim Reaper sends him to assist another Demon-Hunter named Jezebel in her mission to slay the Seven Deadly Sin Incarnations. The duo must work together to eliminate these old foes while also thwarting the machinations of three enigmatic beings-the so-called Remnants of The Antithesis. Book 24: The End

However, when Calida detects another foe-the self-proclaimed Reptogian All-Powerful Liberator-launching an invasion against Planet Earth, we steel ourselves to fight back. All the while, the now-bodiless Critic looms, seeking to corrupt the mind of the one called Ral and turn him into yet another Future Mal. Book 26: The Throne of Telos
Critic Ral assembles villains spanning the corpus of The MAL Series to wage one final war against the Nine Heroes. Steven Akorn, Sir Edward Eques, Adam Astral, Tom Wilson, Bob Smith, Alastor, Michael Mortimer Magnus, Mark Peddlestone, and Mal face their respective foes, then the Nine Heroes, Calida, and I make our way to Castle Telos, where we confront an ultimate creation from the past, reconstructed by none other than Dr. Game Over.
