Astrid Von Valletta

Exact Birthdate: unknown, estimated 1500-1501

Death: 1520

Cause: burnt at stake for the reason of treason

She was only 20 years old or so. Burnt to death by her own. All because she fell in love with a vampire. Now, here I am fantasizing about that same man, damn. My family wondered why I chose to leave that life behind. It wasn't my way of dismissing my witch heritage, I love everything about being a witch. It is in everything I do, everything I see and feel. I could never leave that part of myself, it would feel equivalent to dying, in my opinion.

Eden Paige is a well known hunter for magical artifacts. While after a very odd and random night out on the town she comes to find herself in a certain situation that will completely change the course of her life, while also making her question her views on her witch side. Being against that side of yourself, she will be faced with roads that will ultimately make her embrace the part of herself she has ignored for far too long. She finds herself now on the hunt for the truth behind her heritage. She doesn't care who...or what gets in her way. Unless of course it is a tall, dark, drop dead gorgeous man. Drop dead is a funny choice of words, mainly because of the fact this breathtaking man is unfortunately, a vampire. With an even gorgeous name, Alaric Bennet.

Eden finds herself having to work along side his vampire to finally uncover the truth of her heritage, even though she was raised to never trust them. Could this pair make it without killing each other? Eden can't afford to mess this plan up, she knows she has to rely on Alaric more than she ever thought she could before. She just hopes his intentions are pure and true, and that she won't be the one getting caught in the crossfire.
