This book gives basic exposure to the alphabet, vowels, consonants and phonic sounds. The first step on decoding (reading) two-letter words (VC Words) and three-letter words (CVC words). A VC word is made up of a vowel and consonant sounds. A CVC word is made up of a consonant, vowel and consonant sounds. Learns recognition and blending of sounds.
