LadyBee is an adopted ladybird by two bees in the town of Honey Hills, in the world of Colonia. Being different is not always easy, but with the help of friends and family we can all change the world bit by bit like they do in the story.This book addresses topics such as adoption and diversity and tries to show how we are all different in the eyes of others. Being different is nothing to be ashamed of, we should all embrace it. At the end of the book, a couple of activities for the little ones are included where they can show their creativity and also a help page for those with communication difficulties. As a special education teacher, I have taken the opportunity to incorporate a communication board page to give the chance to those that need it most to use it and decide about the book.
