Welcome to the world of the Ghouls. An ancient race of flesh-eating Monsters going about disguised as ordinary women and men. A long time ago, the Ghouls preyed on Humanity. They were the stuff of Mankind's worst nightmares. Some claim they made several Ancient Human Civilizations disappear, though this was never proven. That was in the old days, though. Along came Hauser the Lawgiver, the one who changed the Ways of the Ghouls. Hauser created the Enforcers, tasked with eliminating any Ghoul who feeds upon Humans, and also established the Feeders Network, to ethically feed law-abiding Ghouls. Centuries later, most Ghouls lead productive lives while hiding among the Human population. Fatima Diallo is a tall, stunningly attractive African American professional working in Boston. This UMass-Amherst alum is the Hot Nurse constantly turning heads at Mass General Hospital. Fatima is also a Ghoul, albeit a civilized one. Fatima's picture-perfect world is unraveling, though. First, Fatima's Nigerian ex-lover, bisexual macho man and troublemaker Omar Olajide comes back in her life. Second, there's bodies piling up in Plymouth. Something to do with an uprising of Vampires. Follow Fatima's adventures as she tries to stay alive while solving a supernatural murder mystery...
