Dragons have long since faded into myth. But for one sixteen-year-old street thief, the legends are more than stories; they're her heritage. The Great War between humans and drakes has been over for nearly 700 years. Since then, Plyn has experienced an uneasy peace. For many, the Crimson Enforcers are their guardians, but they're nothing but power-hungry tyrants for April. After a traumatic experience as a child, April distrusts and hates the Enforcers, avoiding them as much as she can while living in the shadow of their King. But when one break-in attempt goes badly, April is reluctantly pulled into an epic journey across Plyn, facing enemies, making friends, and finally coming to terms with her past. The Last Dragon Child is the thrilling first novel of the Legends of Hope. The author invites you to journey through time and space to the universe of Itxaro, where dragons, drakes, and humans intermingle in a land shrouded in mystery and legend.
