When Ava finished her first year of school I was excited that she had made it through her first academic year. There were a lot of challenges: fears to overcome, nervousness, separation anxiety, and adjusting to a new environment. But, there were a lot of successes along the way as well. When Ava came home on her final day of kindergarten I reviewed her drawing book and thought, this would make a great little book to show other kids that kindergarten has a lot of fun things to learn about and do. The result is before you. I hope you enjoy Ava's little book and can share it with other kids to teach them that kindergarten really isn't scary. There's a lot of wonderful little adventures they will have along the way. Enjoy.
