Solving murders by magic poses impossible challenges for the San Francisco Police Department given that non-magical people don't know that magic exists... That's where Private Investigator Bonnie Glock steps in. She specializes in cracking the most unusual cases, yet the department doesn't know how she does it - they don't realize that she has access to magic.
Bonnie Glock is a witch who sees it as her mission in life to hunt down supernatural criminals in the non-magical city of San Francisco. Normals aren't allowed to know of magic's existence, so she struggles to make sure that the magical dimension of her sleuthing goes largely unnoticed. Determined to combat the predominant prejudice mages have against Normals within the magical world, Bonnie is forced to bend both magical and Normal laws to serve justice in the non-wizarding world, the Mixed.
Unable to rely on the San Francisco PD or her former colleagues at the Magic Intelligence Agency for assistance, Bonnie hires a Normal human to help with her private investigation practice. But involving a Normal in tracking down magical criminals can be deadly. The United Wizarding Federation has been looking for an excuse to put an end to the help she's been offering Normals. Keeping her secret from both worlds becomes increasingly challenging, especially after Bonnie learns that more than a lone killer mage is loose in the Mixed...
If you liked The Dresden Files, Mercy Thompson, or Rivers of London, then you'll love A J Walker's new Bonnie Glock Mystery series. Unlock Into the Mixed to experience what happens when magic and mayhem go hand in hand.
