Questo si chiama Filosofia Zero perché parla della filosofia che si faceva negli anni zero del secondo millennio, e ne parla anche nel modo in cui se ne parlava allora. Oggi fa scendere una goccia di nostalgia dalle mie pupille. Il mondo è molto cambiato, e anche la filosofia.
Si chiama Filosofia Zero anche perché è quel libro che dovrebbero leggere tutti quegli studenti, pazzi ed eroici, che dal liceo decidono d'intraprendere la carriera filosofica all'università . Perché quando finisci il liceo hai studiato a stento Heidegger, se hai avuto fortuna sei arrivato a Gadamer. Poi arrivi al Dipartimento di Filosofia (non importa di quale città ) e sbatti dolorosamente il naso su gente come Carnap, Quine, Davidson... beh, qualcuno dovrebbe avere la gentilezza o almeno la decenza di prepararti all'impatto!
Si chiama Filosofia Zero anche perché è il primo libro di filosofia che ho scritto. Al tempo della sua prima edizione di chiamava La mia timida opinione, vedrete poi nella prefazione alla prima edizione, che leggerete fra pochissimo.
Ho deciso di ripubblicare questo libro perché non si trova più, perché è fantastico, pieno di vita, di colori, di scintille, stelle e scoppiettanti emozioni.
Un libro di filosofia così vivo, oggettivamente, non si è mai visto.
