Entrare nella scuola primaria significa molto più che imparare a leggere, scrivere e seguire le lezioni. Come prepararlo prima che il problema diventi serio?
Questo libro propone un approccio pratico: non insegnare al bambino a temere gli altri, né a reagire con aggressività , ma aiutarlo a sviluppare gli strumenti necessari per riconoscere ciò che sta accadendo e scegliere una risposta adeguata.
Il bambino impara gradualmente a distinguere una normale discussione da una pressione ripetuta, a dire no senza lunghe giustificazioni, a difendere i propri confini, a non cedere automaticamente davanti a una voce più forte e a capire quando è meglio ignorare una provocazione, cambiare posto, cercare altre persone o rivolgersi a un adulto.
Un'attenzione specifica è dedicata anche alla sicurezza fisica. Non vengono insegnate tecniche di combattimento: il libro spiega invece perché coordinazione, equilibrio, familiarità con il contatto controllato, autocontrollo e un buon ambiente sportivo possono aiutare il bambino a non sentirsi impotente se una situazione diventa fisica.
La preparazione non significa trasformare ogni contrasto in un caso di bullismo. Significa dare al bambino più possibilità di scelta.
Il libro affronta anche il ruolo dei genitori: come osservare i primi mesi senza trasformare l'attenzione in sorveglianza, quali cambiamenti meritano di essere approfonditi, quando lasciare spazio all'autonomia e quando una situazione è diventata troppo seria per essere gestita dal bambino da solo.
All'interno troverai inoltre checklist operative, scenari di ruolo da provare a casa, criteri per valutare un corso sportivo e una scheda sintetica che aiuta il bambino a ricordare una sequenza semplice: riconoscere, valutare, scegliere, agire e chiedere aiuto quando serve.
