Your primary priority as a young person should be to always be very cautious in life. As I mentioned in this book, young children ten years of age and older have a natural tendency to play more and live more carefreely, but if they could only learn and make an effort to change their mindset and act appropriately, I bet they would start living their best lives in no time. Life is too short to waste time on pointless things.
When the time is right, you, as a youngster, will understand this. I often feel like it was only yesterday when I was playing with my childhood friends and doing all kinds of silly things as an adult, so how did I suddenly become so grown-up and mature? I still find it strange. As adults, we occasionally become aware of the true meaning of life a little too late and attempt to make amends. Sometimes we are successful in doing so, and other times we are unsuccessful, which can result in regrets and depression. Adults who are unable to cope with this depressive mood can end up committing suicide.
Parents or guardians are asked to keep an eye on their children, guiding and teaching them to choose the proper path in life so they might avoid the suffering that comes with regrets in the future.
